Administrator Session - Troubleshooting and Advanced Access
1a.Windows- To initiate an Administrator Session, 1) expand the icons on your system tray in your taskbar (^ arrow at the bottom right of your screen next to the clock), 2) right click the green icon with the white check mark and 3) select request Administrator Access.
1b.Mac - To initiate an Administrator Session, 1. Click administrator by request in the top menu bar (you may need to launch Admin by Request from your dock) 2. click Request administrator access
2. In the pop-up window provide a valid business reason and click OK.
3. You will receive auto-elevation and will not receive an approval email. Your actions will be logged during this session.
4. Once complete, click finish and then confirm.

Run as Administrator - Installing a program
1. To initiate an admin request, 1) right click on the file or program you are trying to run (usually in your downloads folder) and 2) select Run as administrator.
2. In the pop-up window provide a valid business reason and click OK.
3. You will receive auto-elevation and will not receive an approval email. Your actions will be logged during this session.
Note: You will need elevated admin privileges each time you install a program
